Residents will be assessed daily and to positively promote skills that residents are still able to use. The staff will use reablement techniques to promote residents independence and to assess their function each day.

Growing Together

At Sterling Care, we believe in building a vibrant community where everyone is encouraged to learn, grow, and thrive together.

Resident Meetings

We hold resident meetings and encourage community partners to visit and give guidance on what’s available in the local community — which has resulted in volunteering jobs for our residents.

Individuals are encouraged to plan group activities in the community and trips out of the Sunderland area, building confidence and independence along the way.
